Loved that the planes are all operational Has the only 2 Spitfires working in the Southern Hemisphere spent hours exploring , watching videos and listening to old pilots telling their stories. Staff very helpful. A MUST SEE
Definitely worth a visit. What a great place in rural NSW to be able to see these amazing aircrafts in pristine flying condition. I loved that you can also read about the many different pilots that flew the planes and the video stories from war veterans telling their stories of flying some of these planes in combat. We will definitely visit the museum again when they have their next flying day.

Well presented museum of old warbirds, most of which still actually fly. Check their website for flying days. They also have a good caravan park at the airport.
Awesome aviation museum housing air worthy aircraft. The aircraft are flown on a regular frequency demonstrating the capabilities of the aircraft to the public. Lots of history stories in the hangers and maintenance sheds can be viewed. Good souvenir shop. Look out for the biannual Warbirds Down Under air show where you can camp on the airfield.
